My client is a successful and expanding IT support, installation, consultancy and telecoms company based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. They have an established and loyal customer base and a stream of new business customers has allowed them to grow consistently year on year since the company was formed in 2003. Due to new contract wins and further expansion they are now looking for additional technical staff to increase the capacity and skill sets of their existing support and installations team as they continue to grow in 2019.

1st Line Support Helpdesk

Working as part of the technical team you will be providing support to a broad range of businesses throughout the region. Offering 1st line support- the successful person will be required to assist customers and carry out a range of system remedial and project work whilst making sure that all service level agreements are met. A lot of support will be carried out over the phone and remotely - site visits will happen from time to time.

The successful candidate will need experience of windows (Apply online only) server, VMWARE/Veeam, Microsoft Exchange including Microsoft 365, ADSL/ router and firewall configuration. VPN principles and set-up, along with possessing knowledge to improve and change router information.

Additionally, experience of disaster recovery, dealing with hardware problems from diagnosis through to resolution, will be an added advantage.

Our client works Monday - Friday, offering remote and out of office support.
