We are recruiting for an IT manufacturer who are a known imaging specialist that develop, produce and sell high quality and sophisticated imaging products and related solutions. They have experienced rapid growth during the past 7 years and are now looking to continue to grow in both existing and new market areas while ensuring that their customer service is maintained to an unrivalled high level that their customers expect to receive with a premium product.

The organisation has an established customer base in Financial Trading, Large Corporate Enterprise, Post Production Video Editing, Photography, Product Design and Diagnostic Healthcare Imaging. We currently have expansion plans into new sectors including Surgical Imaging, Security & Surveillance, Maritime, Transportation and Military.

They are currently seeking an Engineer with a minimum of 3 years electrical engineering experience. The Engineer will report directly to the Customer Services Manager and will be responsible for providing expert and efficient repair of products in compliance with the company standards.

Applicants need to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and an aptitude to problem solving. We are looking for someone who has a can do attitude and enjoys working as part of a team.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities

·Assess the state of the equipment on arrival and report any unexpected issues

·Test and diagnose faulty hardware accurately, methodically and safely in order to ascertain whether any repairs are covered by warranty or not

·Repair the equipment as efficiently and possible while maintaining company standards

·Accurately document all findings, corrective actions taken, and components used

Required Experience / Skills

·Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

·Strong team player willing to work closely to ensure the best level of service is provided to our customers

·Exceptional attention to detail and record keeping

Additional Requirements

·The ability to travel primarily throughout the UK but also, on occasion, globally to customer sites

·To remain up to date with knowledge of maintenance reports and technical information notices relating to products and those aligned with our solutions
