ServiceNow CMDB Coordinator Rate - £650 (per day) Duration - 6 Months (initially) Location - Manchester (Hybrid) Ir35 - Inside Ir35 (Must use an umbrella company) We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow CMDB (Configuration Management Database) Coordinator to join our client. Position Overview: The ServiceNow CMDB Coordinator will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure the CMDB, and ensure alignment with best practices and organizational objectives. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into CMDB design and configuration specifications. Design, implement, and maintain the CMDB data model, including configuration item (CI) classes, relationships, and attributes. Configure ServiceNow Discovery and other integration tools to populate the CMDB with accurate and up-to-date information about IT assets and infrastructure. Develop and maintain CMDB-related policies, processes, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., ITIL). Collaborate with other ServiceNow teams (e.g., Incident Management, Change Management) to integrate CMDB functionality into broader IT service management processes. Provide guidance and support to other IT teams on CMDB-related matters, including data reconciliation, troubleshooting, and reporting. Conduct regular audits and reviews of the CMDB to identify discrepancies, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement. Stay current with ServiceNow platform updates, new features, and industry trends related to configuration management and CMDB best practices. Act as a subject matter expert on CMDB-related topics, delivering training sessions, workshops, and presentations as needed. Participate in the evaluation and selection of third-party tools and technologies to enhance CMDB functionality and integration capabilities
