One of our clients in Newcastle is looking for a Controls Engineer with experience in the Subsea industry.
This company is leading the way in the off shore equipment design and dominating the offshore engineering space. The client has won a number of projects which requires contract staffing resource. This role is for an initial 6 months starting ASAP (extensions expected)
This role is based in the Newcastle and is deemed Outside IR35.
The ideal Controls Engineer will have subsea/ renewables engineering experience and a strong background in EC&I.
The client is looking for candidates with the following experience:
- PLC programming (Siemens / Rockwell)
- Designing of SCADA/ HMI applications
- Design of Ethernet and serial networks
- Manufacture and assembly support
- Technical documentation to support equipment (specifications, risk assessments, manuals, etc)
- Client support - on-site and remote (occasional site travel preferred)
- Peer review of engineering designs
- Experience level - ability to work on projects without direct supervision. 5+ years.
