Job title: Ground Crew Operator

Location: Warton - onsite only + shift allowance

Salary: £33,512

What you'll be doing:

  • Extensive cleaning of the aeroplane, both internally and externally (this makes up approximately 50% of the role)
  • Supporting the Safety Culture
  • Aircraft water & toilet servicing
  • Marshalling and ground handing
  • Aircraft Towing and Pushback including operating all ground support equipment
  • Baggage and Freight handling including handling of dangerous goods
  • Loading / unloading catering and cargo using specialised vehicles
  • Aircraft De-icing
  • Working at heights - Use of Mobile Elevated Working Platforms
  • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections
  • Completing of Load Information Reports

Your skills and experiences:

  • Previous experience in aircraft marshalling, baggage loading, freight loading, aircraft dispatching, aircraft servicing (cleaning the interior and exterior of the aircraft, including toilets)
  • Previous experience of working on an aircraft flight line and holder of an airside driving permit
  • Previous experience of Manual handling, baggage and freight handling, steps and ground equipment
  • Willing to work outdoors in all weathers
  • Willing to work at heights
  • Hold a current UK driving licence
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel)

The Corporate Air Travel Ground Crew:

As a Ground Crew Operator, you will have the opportunity to work in a small team with a high focus on safety and be required to be flexible to meet the requirements of the business. The role is predominately based outside so you must be comfortable working in all weathers

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a high level of team working ethos, as well as the ability to work in high pressurised situations with a calm and unflustered manner
