IT Solutions Consultant

Red Recruitment is recruiting an IT Solutions Consultant to join our client that provides cybersecurity, communications, and technology-managed services. This role is to join an experienced team as the client looks to expand this department, the role will primarily be to work alongside the sales team to develop IT strategy for the client base. The salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum and also includes a £5,000 bonus as well as a car allowance. Benefits and Package for an IT Solutions Consultant: Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + £5,000 bonus Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm Contract Type: Permanent Location: Remote anywhere in the UK with occasional travel to the local office Car allowance 25 days holiday (rising to 28 days after 3 years service) Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Pay Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme Salary Sacrifice Cycle to work Scheme Salary Sacrifice Electric Car Scheme Private Medical Insurance (After completion of the probation period)Key Responsibilities of an IT Solutions Consultant: Responding to sales and prospects' technical requests in a timely manner Acting as a conduit between the Sales teams, collaborating on projects Liaising with the technical services, delivery and project management teams throughout the design phase Providing product demonstrations and basic POC to meet customer requirements Providing a strategy and roadmap to meet the client's growing requirementsKey Skills and Experience of an IT Solutions Consultant: Previous experience working in an MSP environment in either a Presales, Engineer, or Architect role (ideally 3 years experience in a similar role) Microsoft certifications desirable Good knowledge of IT technologies (some include but are not limited to, Microsoft, HP Enterprise, Datto and Veeam backup portfolio, Sophos, Carbon Black, WatchGuard) You should have a commercially focused approach when speaking to clients whilst maintaining the correct technical standards Previous experience of creating technical documentation for the purpose of education customersIf you are interested in this position and have the relevant experience required, please apply now!
