Cloud Engineer

This is a new opportunity for a cloud infrastructure engineer to join a team of dedicated IT professionals delivering new solutions into the organisation. This role is suitable for an experienced engineer with a strong technical background in server and cloud technologies, chiefly Azure. Responsibilities: * Work with the architecture team to create low-level design documentation, based on the provided high-level designs. * Deliver cloud-based resources and services that implement the low-level designs. * Ensure delivered solution follows defined design process and company governance procedures and processes through design reviews. * Work with the Cloud Optimisation Analyst to identify areas of improvement to design, capacity, spend and security. * Contribute to the Cloud Governance Committee as required Qualifications: * Deep Public Cloud expertise, including IaaS, PaaS, Serverless, Microservices, SaaS - particularly Azure. * Experience in implementing robust cloud solution architectures selecting appropriate services based on workload requirements (across storage, compute, networks, security, monitoring, automation, data, IaaS, PaaS, managed services, Serverless, Microservices, etc.). * Experience within an Agile / Iterative delivery environment. * Microsoft Certification or equivalent experience in cloud technologies. * Extensive experience as an infrastructure/devops engineer * Proven ability to deliver results Perks: Our people are our strength so finding ways to value and reward them is important to us.
