A major hedge fund client I'm working with is looking for a UI/ UX designer to join their team based in London on a long term contract.
This role will be working on a hybrid policy 2-3 days a week in the office, where the successful candidate will be paid £650-850Per Day subject to experience

- role within the FX Derivatives and Risk team to build and extend FX Options and Risk frontend application suite.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop user interfaces for React applications using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Create wireframes and mockups to visualize UI design ideas.
- Build prototypes to communicate user experience designs
- Understand project requirements, user personas and business processes to inform elegant and functional UI/ UX designs.
Requirements
- Proficiency in UI/ UX design tools (Figma etc) and web development (HTML and CSS)
- Familiarity with front-end web development technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript and React.
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/ UX design work for web applications.
- Experience with version control systems (Git, bitbucket)
- Candidate must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in designing UI applications for finance.
Nice to have
- Hedgefund / Investment bank experience
- Good knowledge and experience using canvas for creating dynamic and interactive elements within web applications.
