Key Responsibilities: Design and develop internal and external systems, websites, APIs, and service layers to enhance customer experience. Propose enhancements and tackle technical debt in alignment with project deadlines. Collaborate with Architecture and other developers to refine ideas, write code, and create automated tests. Support live applications and suggest incremental improvements to processes and tools. Requirements: Strong background in web development with extensive knowledge of Java and experience with Spring Boot for web APIs. Proficiency in creating unit tests and using software management tools such as GIT, Git Hub, or Subversion. Familiarity with web services (RESTful/SOAP/JSON etc.) and coding for accessibility standards. Effective analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving. Broad understanding of both front and back-end development. Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative team player with strong communication skills. Enthusiasm for learning and tackling new technologies, with some knowledge of agile methodology. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £60,000.
