Propulsion Test Engineer

An opportunity has become available for a Propulsion Test Engineer to join a groundbreaking startup, working on cutting edge satellite technology based in Reading.

As a Propulsion Test Engineer you will have a number of responsibilities that include;

• Create test plans
• Propulsion testing
• Analyse test data and write reports based on your findings
• Suggest CAD design developments and improvements
• Manage and operate vacuum facilitiesTo be considered for the Propulsion Test Engineer vacancy you must have:
  
  • Experience with spacecraft electric propulsion systems (such as RF Thrusters, Hall Effect thrusters, Gridded Ion Propulsion, etc)
  • Experience working with vacuum systems (such as pumps, gauges and valves)
  • CAD modelling experience
