Technical Author – 3 days on site in Cambridge Are you interested in working for an AI company that are going from strength to strength? If you’re a Technical Author with a Degree from a Top 200 Global University who has at least 2 years’ demonstratable experience in technical writing for software, technology or scientific, this could be for you! This machine learning company operate within the legal sector and are looking to scale massively throughout 2024 and into 2025 after a successful couple of years. They have a well-regarded product in the market and a client base to match this. Their product has been developed by industry-leading experts and is proven to be adding value to their clients by saving them time and money. So, what will you be involved in? Developing and maintaining comprehensive documents to help improve overall end user experience, whilst also improving the efficiency of internal teams. Achieving a high-level understanding of the products and translating highly complex information, especially product use cases and legal workflows, creating content suitable for all users to language that is concise and meaningful to their users Amalgamating existing documentation and make consistent documentation from knowledge that has been built up from various teams Work with developers and support teams to understand technical details and processes, prioritising the most impactful and relevant areas to invest in documentation enhancements Help coach/train developers and engineers to write high quality documentation as part of the software development lifecycle. Create and develop a central hub of internal and external documentation, enhancing the user documentation portal. Work with sales and product specialists, validating best practices and legal user flows, and with the marketing department to ensure external documentation is consistent in branding and styleTo be successful in this role, you will need technical literacy and be fluent with MS office.
