IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician – Ripley £30,000 - £34,000 + potential bonuses and great benefits   My client is a global organisation who are industry-leaders in their sector and their UK-based IT Support team is growing, as they require an experienced IT Support Technician. You will act as the first point of contact for UK IT support, providing effective end user support at local and remote sites.   As a trusted IT Engineer, you will oversee the operation and management of IT projects such as implementations, replacements, and device upgrades. You will install and maintain user devices and software ensuring maximum availability, whilst also carrying out network maintenance functions and maintaining network system access profiles.   The organisation is consistently seeking to modernise their IT Infrastructure, so you will have exposure to modern technologies. This role will be based in Ripley and quarterly travel to other sites will be required.   Package: £30,000 - £34,000 basic DOE Bonus opportunities Matched company pension up to 7% 26 days holiday + bank holidays Medical cash plan, free parking, EAP, occupational health service, cycle to work scheme.  Experience: Good understanding of Microsoft Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 suite IT security products, i.e. Microsoft Defender Active Directory and basic VMware knowledge Networking equipment and network technology Understanding of cloud technologies such as Azure would be beneficial. Excellent interpersonal skills  Effectively, this role is responsible for working with the wider IT team to contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of IT Services for a business with several thousand employees.   The company offer an excellent package and are hoping to hold interviews as soon as possible.
